Sifu Salvo La Licata

Sifu Salvatore La Licata (3nd TG) was born in Palermo (PA) on January 8, 1985. He began to practice martial arts at the age of 10 years, starting from karate.
At the age of 14 years approaches the Wing Tsun, and enthusiastic of this martial art, began his career in WTOI (Wing Tsun Organization Italy) with Sifu Giuseppe Aquilia.
In 2001 continues its practice Sihing Maurizio Caruso.
In 2002, his path led him to approach another organization, IWKA, participating and advancing grade in the various stages, where he meets and works with G.M. Sergio Iadarola, founder of IWKA. In 2006, he receives the 9th grade pupil from the same.
For a year in parallel to the study of Wing Tsun, approaches to the study of Shaolin Kung Fu with Master Angelo Branciforte, to the MMA and Boxing.
In 2007 knows Sifu Nunzio Nastasi and decides to join the IWTFA.
In 2008 he obtained a 1st level technical and began teaching in Palermo.
After a year of teaching and personal training, in 2009 he obtained the 2nd technical level.
During the years of training, the demand for Wing Tsun in Palermo is high and is found to teach in several gyms.
The number of students increases, and in 2012, five of his students receive the 1st technician degree from Sifu Nunzio Nastasi, event by which, Sifu Salvatore La Licata receives the appointment of Sifu.
He continued his studies while traveling between Italy and Germany, dealing with Sifu of different associations.
The November 10, 2013, along with other Sifu and in the company of some of his students, he went to Hong Kong where he met several masters such as GM Wan Kam Leung and many others.
At the same time visit the school of GM Leung Ting.
Is one of the co-founders in 2016 of IWTSA, as all its members continue to study seriously, working in Europe, America and Asia, with the Grand Masters as Sifu Emmanuel Fracella (responsible head of the Italian Wing Tsun Kung Fu Association in Lecce), Grand Master Sifu Allan W. Fong (responsible head of Allan Fong's Martial Arts International in New York direct student of Sijo Leung Ting), Grand Master Sifu Rene Latosa (responsible Latosa Escrima Concepts in Windsor in California), Sifu Sergio Iadarola (head manager the International Wing Tjun Kung Fu Association in Hong Kong) and many others.
In July of 2016 becomes a direct student of Sifu Tam Yiu Ming (chief manager of Wing Tjun Kung Fu Academy in London, a direct student of GM Leung Ting and GM Cheng Chuen Fun).
In July 2017 during Campus Milazzo receives from Sifu Tam Yiu Ming the Red T-Shirt
